Inert ceramic support media for vessels and reactors

We assess support media requirements by composition, ball size, crush strength, thermal duty and chemical environment before issuing a commercial proposal.

Grades within scope

Inert alumina ceramic ballsFor bed support and hold-down in dryers and adsorbers.
Higher-alumina gradesFor elevated temperature or more demanding chemical duties.
Graded sizesTypically 3 mm to 50 mm, specified in layers to suit the vessel.

Information reviewed before quotation

Vessel type and diameter, bed design, operating temperature and pressure, process medium and the sizes and depths of each layer.

Technical review

Alumina content, crush strength, water absorption, acid and alkali resistance, bulk density and size tolerance.

Commercial basis

Quantity by size, packaging, origin, delivery basis, lead time and required TDS, COA and SDS documentation are set out clearly in the proposal.
